With a professional crew supporting every detail, the experience feels polished, relaxed, and effortless from start to finish. Too Shallow carries up to 10 guests, with room for up to 8 crew.
Captain Gareth Walsh
Gareth grew up on the coastline of Durban, South Africa, and earned a degree in Graphic Design before pursuing a career in hospitality across the United States. Drawn to adventure, he transitioned into yachting, where he has spent over a decade — including thirteen Atlantic crossings and a three-month voyage from South Africa to the Caribbean on a 30-foot catamaran. He later worked on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, deepening his appreciation for marine life. Now in his thirteenth year in yachting, Gareth continues to thrive on the water, always chasing his next adventure.

Time on the water guests talk about long after the trip ends
From attentive service and beautiful views to the comfort of the yacht itself, every detail is meant to feel unforgettable.
We did an overnight charter with family in the Bahamas, and Too Shallow was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, the kids loved getting in the water, and the cabins were comfortable and well-kept. Waking up on the yacht the next morning with coffee on deck was probably my favorite part.
We booked Too Shallow for a birthday day charter, and it ended up being the highlight of the whole trip. The yacht was even more spacious in person, the crew was friendly without being overbearing, and everything felt really easy from the moment we stepped onboard. We spent the afternoon cruising, swimming, and just relaxing, and none of us wanted the day to end!
I planned a sunset charter for my fiancée, and the crew helped make the whole evening feel really special without making it feel forced. They timed everything perfectly, gave us privacy when it mattered, and the setup on deck was beautiful. It was one of those experiences that actually lived up to what I had hoped for.
Amazing food, great team along with high quality customer service. I highly recommend Too Shallow!!!
Chartering Too Shallow was easily the highlight of our trip. The crew was professional, welcoming, and made us feel completely relaxed throughout the entire journey. The yacht itself is stunning, and there was plenty of space for everyone to lounge, swim, and enjoy the incredible views. Watching the sunset from the deck was something we will never forget.
I proposed to my fiancée aboard Too Shallow and it was perfect. The crew helped plan the moment at sunset, and everything felt private and unforgettable. We celebrated with an amazing dinner and incredible views. It was the perfect place to start our next chapter.
